Meeting quality at the ice-cream parlour: Rossini lluminazione and Scian
Passion, commitment and dedication are the essential ingredients in the recipe for excellence that Alessandro Scian applies to all his ice-cream. His gelato is strictly made using raw ingredients that are carefully selected and controlled, one by one.
In the central square in Aviano, Italy, is a gelateria that will take you by surprise. The recently-opened space features a modern decor in a historic context, and the lighting chosen is Rossini Illuminazione’s tracks and spotlights. The track system means the lighting can not only be accurately focused but also comfortable for customers, as well as offering great flexibility, a particularly useful attribute for settings such as art galleries and museums, but also for retail spaces such as this, where the “art” of great ice-cream is the focal point.
Here, Maya, spotlights are mounted onto Groove three-phase tracking. The chosen colour is white, creating a modern, elegant, “illuminating” result, complemented by Daikon LED strips in their medium version. The strip is mounted onto Ginger, an aluminium dissipator profile positioned under the front of the countertop to offer decorative lighting, enhancing the tactile aspect of the wooden decor, and chosen with the same care and attention with which Alessandro Scian produces his acclaimed ice-cream.
